I'm interested in knowing if there are any spots to Bodyboard at in Culebra? I'm a beginner and I've heard there's a spot on Brava Beach. I would appreciate any info. thanks!

I've found excellent bodyboarding and body-surfing at Flamenco, Resaca, and Brava. The waves are usually cleanest at Flamenco because is is better protected from the wind than the others. Zoni is not a good choice due to rocks scattered in the surf.

Thanks Konadurango for you reply. I didn't go in July since there was a holiday weekend every weekend in PR that month and getting to the local beaches was impossible. I could only imagine what it was like to get to Culebra. I live in PR and will try to make a trip on my next break this year.

I was also wondering if you have to hike out to Resaca or Brava and if there are any guides on the island that would take you.

Brava is an easy 15 minute hike. Resaca is a longer and more strenuous hike, and the path is sometimes submerged near the bottom... some local kids who were crabbing there showed me the way through the first time I did it. Don't know if there are any guides but you definitely don't need one for Brava.. just might need to ask someone where to find the start of the trail.
