One-day trip with a two year old

I don't know if this sounds a little crazy. My wife, a two year old and I are going to stay at San Juan for 4 nights, and I am thinking going to Culebra for a day trip. Most likely I will go by air, and bring my own beach tent. Is it all feasible, anything else I should plan ahead?

You'll be waisting a lot of fuel for another beach. The 'Culebra Experience' cannot be had in a daytrip!
