i've not been here yet, but am a dedicated camper who likes to drive a rental car, preferably small and inconspicuous, and/or walk to the basic area i want to visit for the day and then ask politely if my very small tent with just me can be accomodated in a tiny corner somewhere out of the way. this works great in new zealand, which i've camped all over. other then at flamingo, is this kind of nomadic camping allowed on culebra? would those who own the land welcome one mature woman, very quiet, with a small tent for a night or two for a minimal rate before she moved on? i like to spend my time on beaches and hiking in jungles and forests, staying away from tourists and city/town like places, being free to move about, being solitary and meditative in a quiet clean environment free of commercial distractions is what i have in mind.
can anyone who's been here advise me of the viability of this as a plan for at least a month and perhaps 2?
my thanks!
