I want to suprise my husband for his 50th bday this year and am planning a trip to Culebra. I am open to suggestions, ideas, tips, etc. i.e., when is the best time to visit, accomodation recomendations (NOTE: we do not require anything fancy...as long as it is clean and comfortable and preferrably on the beach). I was looking at Flamenco beach and that area looks great. Even considered the idea of camping, but figured it might be a good idea to check it out first. So, I am open to all suggestions. Thanks so much!

Hope, welcome to the Forum.

I suggest you pose more specific question, especially as a newbie. Folks here are very friendly but your post is very vague and once you read through some posts, search a little, read the website, you will be able to ask specifics :)

The Fajardo Ferry to Culebra is just for $2.25 Yes, ther are safe, fenced, gated parking lots with attendants. $5/day. that you can park at the Fajardo Ferry while visiting in Culebra Island.
