They are open 7 days a week, that is when they have gas. We were there in June/July and they were out from Sunday until Wed afternoon. I am not sure when they close, but I believe they open at 10. We waited until Thursday to get gas and still had to wait in line for well over an hour. You have to realize there is only 1 station with 1 pump. Lots of juggling going on to get your vehicle lined up with the pump, on the correct side, etc. We were running on fumes. We parked our vehicle in Dewey by the Drs. office and caught a publico to Flamenco to save on gas on Thursday. When we returned, we got in line and still had to wait. We were told by a reliable source while on Culebra that someone from Vieques is supposed to open the other station soon. That will be a God send! We have been there with 2 stations and 1 station and believe me, it is much easier with 2 especially for the owners of the diveboat we use. The closed station is right where they keep their boat, by Susie's. The damage to and the building of the new ferry dock has caused massive traffic congestion problems at the ferry dock especially at ferry departure/arrival times. Will be glad when it is finished.
