Where are the tidal pools-or baths- located on Culebrita? Are they easy to get to? Any other recommendations of things to do while we are on the island? We are a group of 4 adults and 6 children. Thanks.

The Culebrita baths are on the top North side past the end of the sandy beach. it's a short walk that all should be able to get too. There is a path up to the lighthouse as well. That's about a 15 min hike. The roof structure has been removed so it's safe to walk around in the building. The main lighthouse is about 150 years old now so you are taking your chances if you venture up. There is a shell beach on the East side. The South side (where the taxi will drop you off) is good for snokeling.

And happy hour drink prices start at noon at the Culebrita Lighthouse Bar and Grill!

The "Baths" are to your right or starboard side facing Tortuga Beach. Keep walking to the point. The sea can be a little rough and look out for fire coral. I speak from experience as the tidal surge can push you into the rocks. Otherwise fun. Happy Hour is 24/7 on Tortuga. Doc

I think David means to the right facing Tortuga BAY. If you face the beach form the water, it is to your extreme left.

Doug, you are correct. I was standing in the palm trees facing the bay with the Culebrita rats that come out to beg for food. The hermit crabs must be hard to crack.
