Good day! We just returned from 4 wonderful days on Culebra, man was it hard to go home! Great lodging, super food, wonderful beaches, friendly people, fun shops.

Used Air Flamenco to get there and back from Isla Grande Airport. I know about the ferry and other airlines. Wondered if there are other ways to get from the main island that would be comparable, or cheaper, for two people. Any boats that provide transport?

Thanks ahead for your input. Wow, we loved Culebra! Will do a travel log here later and on Trip advisor.com about all the good things and people on Culebra!

I have found the quickest and easiest way from SJU to Culebra is the small plane from Grande. That flight is $105 rt. The cab ride from the big airport to Fajardo is ~$100 w/ tip and takes an hour. Then you wait in the ferry ticket line and hope you get a ticket. Then the ferry ride is 1 to 1.5 hour ride. For more than two people the ferry may be more attractive. If you have tons of luggage (over 25 lbs the small plane will charge extra) and wish to go shopping on the way to Fajardo then the ferry is a good option. There are no other boat options.
