Hello Culebra friends,
We'll be visiting both Culebra and Vieques in late Dec. - early Jan., and would appreciate input from folks who have been diving at both islands. I have not been able to find very many posts on scuba message boards about the 2 islands, although divers who have been to both generally say that the diving tends to be better at Culebra. Has that also been your experience?
Also, what does the diving tend to be like during that time of year? We had a great diving trip to the Caymans in Jan., 07, with 100+ vsibility, and a good diving trip to the BVI last Jan. A system came through the BVI and visibility tended to be in the 50 ft range.
We have some flexibility in terms of the # of days we'll be staying at each island. The new moon will be in late Dec. so we're staying on Vieques first in order to snorkel Biobay.
Thanks, alashas
