Hello fellow travelers.
I will be attending a wedding in Guanica in October and will be taking a few extra days afterwards to visit la Isla de Culebras. I want to pick an ideal spot that is close to a beach like el Flamenco, but also close to town so we can hang out and maybe hit a bar. We are walkers so don't mind walking 5-15 minutes to a beach or town. I have looked at lots of the villas and just can't seem to pin-point an a good choice for us. We don't demand to much but would like something with a kichenette. I saw the Hilltop which is beautiful but seems far from everything.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We are looking to stay 2-3 nights.
Gracias
Sandra
Sandra,
Staying in town and catching the publico to Flamenco is probably your best bet, unless you rent a car. The beach is a little far to walk to unless you're staying right on the beach, and unless you're renting a car, staying on the beach means not a lot of access to town. It's six of one and half dozen of another. Does that make sense?
