Breakfast and lunch very inexpensive at Culebra Deli, great Puertorrican espresso coffee and sandwich a la plancha. We ate dinner at El Batey Restaurant and Bar, $8 buys you a plate of rice and stewed beans, grilled chicken breasts and salad (lettuce and tomato), $2 extra for tostones. Nice island food and cheap. Although it's a bar, don't let it intimidate you, families eat there. There is also a lady on the main road that has a pink kiosk midway from town, she also serves good food and very cheap. The fruit and veggie guy is also very reasonable and good for buying fruit to take to the beach. Happy travels! J
