Long Term Condo Rental

High Speed Internet Access (need to be able to upgrade to the maximum, which is a 1mb connection at culebra.net. 2. Walking distance to fully equipped gym....need modern weights and cardio equipment. 3. Walking distance to full service grocery store (fresh meats and veggies required). 4. Washing machine and dryer inside condo unit. 5. Comfortable bed. :-) :-) OK.....what would the price range be per month....and where would you look? CHEERS! D

You'd be so tired you wouldn't need the comfortable bed as you would just crash on the couch. The sweaty clothes would necessitate the washer/dryer ... so maybe my idea isn't such a good one. <vbg> Seriously I would call Mike McCarty or Raquel at Vacation Planners (787-742-3112). They could give you some options. Plus if they can't help you they will point you in the right direction. Good luck!

Being near a "full service grocery store" is great until the cargo ferry doesn't run for three days. Or you walk in and there is no milk for who knows how long. Granted, these type of situations arise less often than in the past but sometimes I wonder if people know what they are getting themselves into. Culebra ... it ain't for everyone. Frank

Modern and fully equipped would not quite be an accurate description, however...in fact, it would just be a flat out lie. The two treadmills have been broken over a year now... Full service market...nope, we don't have that either. I do bless the veggie guy for coming over though, even if he hasn't brought cauliflower the last three times...before him, it was never. You want an idea of Culebra excitement for gringos? Cauliflower! Buy three, rush back into town, sell two immediately to the first two people you see who try to give you extra money while thanking you profusely for grabbing it for them before it's gone...then brag about it for a couple of days to the jealous whiners who missed it...woo hoo!)

I bought one on the big island a couple of months ago and it wasn't much less, so...like gasoline or anything from the hardware store or booze or smokes you need/want bad...a trip to the big island to save a few bucks (and lose a day) or get it here, get it now if you can...so it goes. And there is always online ordering (not for cauliflower though).
