Culebra nightlife?

my friends and i are going to be visiting in may and i was just wondering what the nightlife is like on the island? we're in our 20s - are there typically a lot of people in this age group around?

looking forward to vacation... COME SOONER!!!

If you only want to hang out with your age group, stay away.

In Culebra people like to party from 3 to 80 (and often beyond)!

The night life depends on the particular days you are there. Sometimes you have to rest!

I enjoyed Karaoke at Dingy Dock. I believe they have that there once a week. They also dance on Friday and Sat. nights at El Batey. And if thereis a baseball game don't pass it up. The two announcers make it so much fun.

I believe at Bahia Marina there is also a guitar player/singer on some evenings as well.

There is no such thing as a bad vacation. Some are just better than others.

You will definitely see 3 year olds shaking their behinds to the music - at very late hours for gringo standards.

Well, it seems the locals don't mind if the younger set party.

When our group heads to Flamenco for the day, everyone helps out taking chairs, coolers with beer and the like. In February, on our first day there, it just so happened that my 8-year-old son and his 11-year-old friend had cooler duty--a cooler with a case of beer in it.

They got a head start on us and as they neared the beach, one of the rangers stopped them to make sure there was no glass in the cooler. The boys opened the cooler and exposed the case of Medalla. No adult in proximity.

Satisfied that there was no glass in the cooler, the ranger sent them and the case of beer on their merry way!

Sphinx...reminds me high school with guitars and bonfires on the beach.

As for night life..I love singing at the Dinghy Dock or the friendly crowd at Mamacitas.

Never been to the late night places. Heard mixed reviews, what are they really like?
