Jen, I still don't understand!
Are you saying that $80 just has to cover food and entertainment? Not transportation or lodging?
If you are camping or cooking your own food, $80 is living high!
But if you like to eat out every meal and drink heavily, it's not enough for two people.
Culebra isn't a strange and foreign world. It has grocery stores and restaurants with items you're used to, at prices that aren't THAT much different than the U.S. Just the selection is less, that's all. And the restaurants are not high end, but they're clean, fun and have good food overall.
At the low end of the cost spectrum are the kiosks at Flamenco Beach. You can get chicken on a stick for $2. I ate so much of it that I finally got sick of it. But what a bargain!
