Walk to grocery store from airport?

My gf and I are flying into Culebra and wanted to pick up some groceries before heading to Culebra Beach Villas on Flamenco beach. Can we walk anywhere from the airport before getting a cab to the beach? It doesn't look far on the map, but it's hard to tell if it's walkable...

15-20 minutes walk - totally do-able, maybe a pain with luggage - sidewalks can come and go and the road is narrow.
