IN WHICH WEBSITE COULD I BUY TICKETS FOR THE FERRY FOR THE MONTH OF MAY. I DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN FAJARDO TO BUY THE TICKETS EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR THE 9 A.M FERRY.I TRIED THE prpa.gobierno.pr AND COULDN'T THE PLACE.

I believe you can only buy ferry tickets in person. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

I suggest you book Henry to shuttle you from the airport to Fajardo in his van.

He is a wonderful guy and he bought us our ferry tickets in advance! I gave him a $10 tip for it.

He charges $80 or so for the van ride, which is pretty typical. He's absolutely reliable. I've used him twice, and both times he went out of his way for us to do us favors. A first class person.

I purchased our ferry tx July '07 via phone and paid by credit card. Sounds easy except I was calling the ticket office at Fajardo port for about 2 WEEKS! Maybe you will have better luck; here are the phone numbers to call: 787-863-0705, 787-863-0852, 787-860-8618. Buy your tickets round trip for everyone. They will give you a confirmation number and you pick them up on your departure day. Be there 1 or 1 half hours early with your confirmation #. Even though you have a paid ticket, you can get left behind. If you know a local that can purchase the tickets for you, that is even better. Our host at Casita Tropical (where we stayed at Culebra) offered to buy them for us and I should have taken her up on the offer. Good Luck! Happy travels! J
