Yeah, the only person at campground was Jose ( i think thats his name), and he kept smiling when i was telling him about it all, he almost laughed, i promise...and everybody was acting like they did not speak english. Including the police. They did not speak a word of english, and we had no witnesses, we had to ask people to translate. and pretty much (through a translator), we were told that if we want to file a complaint with the police, we would have to be present for the hearing in Puerto Rico, if we are not in in Puerto Rico, we cannot do anything. and apparently they do not arrest people for punching a woman in the face--it is not grounds for arrest under Puerto Rican law...
Anyway, i dont even want to talk about it anymore, makes me too upset.
I dont generalize anyone, Doug, i am just saying that is not safe to camp during easter, thats it--dont forget, there were 20 or so guys, shaking our tent, not one person...when people are drunk, they dont control themselves, and there was really no police on the campground to regulate.
