Just wondering what food you can buy on the island.
also is there anywhere to buy kids beach toys.

Dear Liz:
Yes. There is a lot of place in the town for you to go and do shopping. But for your info go to Chelie's Store in the middle of town. Let him know that Ayala's family send you there, specialy Narciso's son. You will love the attention and treatment there. The only problem you may find it is that the store close form 1-3 pm. This is there tradition and they do not sell alcoholic beverage, but there many store in town that you can walk around and find odds and end.

There are a couple of grocery stores, one more traditional and open air, and the other more like one in the states. It was hard to get fresh produce, but I think it comes in once a week on Wednesday. At the dive shop there were all sorts of toys for kids and there are several gift shops as well. The stores are centrally located and all within walking distance of one another. You'll have a wonderful visit and don't worry, you'll find what you need.
