Ferry from San Juan/travel sharing

My boyfriend and I will be traveling from San Juan to Culebra on 1/10/07 and back late on the 12th. We were considering taking the ferry from San Juan, but staff at our hotel are not sure that it is running right now. Does anyone know how to find out? Or would anyone like to cab share to Fajardo from San Juan those days? I cannot determine air taxi prices or schedules, either.

I was looking at using the ferry from San Juan too but have seen, in this forum and on tripadvisor.com, that the high speed ferry is not in operation this winter (06-07). I contacted Vieques Air Link by email through their website, asking about a morning flight to Culebra and they responded in a few hours. I have reservations for a 8:30 am flight from San Juan and a 3:30 pm return a few days later for $98 round trip. Air Flemenco also has a website that you can inquire about particular dates and times.
