noisy nights

I have been on the island for a month now and was wondering does culebra have a sound ordinance here? After being woken up in the middle of the night with my clock shakeing off the wall I have tried to call the police but none of them speaks english...atleast thats what I am told. I am just trying to get a feel for it here since I will be living here for the next year or so. Any help would be nice or possible a contact number to find out the laws here. thanks again....Shawn

A tad more info would be helpful. Were you victimized by the hawksbill fights on Zoni, the rumba circle at Mamacitas on Saturday night, or cars driving across the metal drawbridge? Next time you go to Fajardo, look into some earplugs. I never travel without them.

The noise is from a car stereo. Its the little black ford ranger with scorpin stuff on it.

In what part of town? Most nights we are there, the noise has abated by about 10pm, which is a lot earlier than the noise stops here in Atlanta. . .
