Hello Everyone,
So Glad I found this forum super Helpful!!!

I am writing (god help me for asaking this) but I wanted to know if there were any internet cafes in San Juan particulary Old San Juan? I only ask because I always print my boarding pass before I go to the airport so I do not have to stand in line and I was just thinking I will not be able to do that when I am leaving since you can only print 24 hours before you leave. Other than that I am ok to not have access tot he world for the 9 days I will be in OSJ/ Culebra!!!

Hi Gina,

There is an internet cafe that I saw near or across from the docks in OSJ. I forget the name but it is a few stores down from where Mofongo Restaurant is, which is right by the Sheraton Old San Juan.

Thank you so much I think I know where you are speaking of but I am wondering if I were at the docks where they have the mini concerts, would I bear right if I am facing the city and my back is toward the bay? Just so I can get an idea if I am on the right track.

Sorry to ask this questions about such a pristine place as Culebra... but are there any internet access-typoe places in Culebra. One of our travelling party is a student and might need to do some research. Thanks!

Yes there are!

Perhpas others can chime in with the specifics, but there is Wireless service on much of the island ... and there is a shop downtown that rents computer terminals / internet access by the half-hour. Can't remember the name but they were very friendly and helpful.

I do not believe that El Eden is a "hotspot" anymore. I think the new bakery is the only hotspot in town.

In Culebra, PanDeli has a 'puter with internet access that you can use. They're also a wifi hotspot if you have your own laptop.

I'm not sure where that spot is that you are referring to. But if you were facing the city and your back is to the bay, it would be to the left of Mofongo Restaurant.

I found this on the net, not sure if it is the same place and if these hours are accurate....
Soapy's Internet Station is on the waterfront, across from dock 2. It has some funky opening hours (Monday 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., Tuesday 1 p.m. - 8 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday - Saturday 1 - 8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.).

You can also go to Costa Bonita and sit in their restaurant area and sign in to their free wireless connection why having a nice cold beer and overlook the bay and swimming pool.

I'm sure they do. Check out the Starbucks in old san juan. It's right up the hill from the docks. They had computers there. But about the boarding pass, the airport is so quick that you really don't have to print the boarding pass. You won't have a problem there! Just enjoy the relaxed life of Puerto Rico!
