I'm trying to decide which of the following plans is better:
Plan A:
From Old San Juan, go to Rio Piedras and take public transportation to Fajardo (estimated cost $12 for two people). Take the 3 p.m. ferry to Culebra (estimated cost $4.50) Total cost for two people: $16.50. Total time: ???
OR
Plan B:
From Old San Juan, take the Hi-Speed Ferry at 8 a.m. and arrive in Culebra at 10:30 a.m. Total cost for two people: $74. Total time: 2 hours, 30 minutes.
Questions:
Can you help me out with the Total Time estimate for Plan A? How early would I need to be at Rio Piedras in order to ensure that I will get to Fajardo in time for the 3 p.m. ferry?
Thanks for your help. This board is great.
