My wife and I stayed at Tamarindo Estates for a full week and enjoyed every minute of it. Its a bit out of the way but its set back on beautiful land and our room had a great view of the Cay. The couple who where taking care of the property were very nice and the rooms were clean. Not to mention the ICE cold air conditioner which felt great during high noon. They have a private beach for Tamarindo residents only. Im sure that somewhere on the island you could find nicer but for the price we seemed to have gotten more than our money worth!
