To all water taxi, tour interest and boat owners in Culebra:
There will be an informal meeting at the DNER dock tomoroww, Tuesday, at 5:30 PM where DNER Vigilante Edilberto Romero will orient you on current regs re boats in Culebra. This is especially important for those people that use the mangroves for hurricane shelter and who provide water taxi service to Culebrita and Luis Pena. Also I will share with you the current regs for Culebra National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge will soon have a full-time Law Enforcement officer on staff so we want to make sure that everyone knows what the regs are to avoid problems and confusion. Please know that all regs are established and enforced to protect both you and the resources.
