not to be a buzzkill but this is out of hand. anyone have any ideas as to how to address the overcrowding of our island home that happens at the holidays?
it gets worse every year and yet nothing happens. does anyone else feel we need a call for action? or is everyone ok with the overcrowding, drunken behavior? the trash? the rudeness? the absolute disregard for our town? the excessive boat traffic? boats by the score clogging our waters?
don't get me wrong, i am not against tourism but we simply do not have the ifrastructure to support everyone who wants to come here and party down. there are just too many. what can we do to make it more enjoyable for everyone?

haven't been there this year, but IMO crowds actually were less e.g. during Easter last year! As you said, there's only so many people the island can handle, but the bottleneck is still transport to the island!
