My wife and myself are returning to culebra end of February for 10 days. Even though we have not booked yet we are reaching out to all looking for someone to rent us a vehicle for our stay. Reasonable price would be welcomed?

I have not checked around yet. We usually rent from Dick but read he is only doing bikes. Still need help on this? thanks we will see you at dinner when we are there. We are not looking for high end at all. 4 wheels AC steering wheel that is it.

John, whenever I rented a car, I did so on the main island and put it on the ferry. But that was usually because I need the car to do things in Puerto Rico rather than in Culebra ..
For Culebra, I believe a golf cart is actually a great idea.

The big 'guagas' that the car manufacturers dump on island car rentals becasue then they can mark those overpriced vehicles down after a year of low mileage usage . .. It's not my thing helping badly designed 'trucks' being brought on the roads.
IMO Bermuda could be a great example for how car usage is regualted on a small island with very limited resources.

I don't think there are any banger rentals remaining. Jerry's is now run by his son who changed the fleet to new Jeeps such as Carlos rents.

Hello Michael, can you tell me if Willy rents out his personal vehicle for a small fee - or much smaller than the local rental agencies. The cost to rent even a golf cart is almost as much as the cost of my house rental. I would love to know if there is another option for transportation. I will be in Culebra the last week in February.
