Anyone need a flight from Culebra to SJU on January 2nd at 10:15am? We will have up to 4 available seats, thanks to an awesome <cough> schedule change on our outbound United flight. Let me know!!

You, too? Our friends are changing to the 730 am flight on the 7th. Changing like that ought to allow you to change to another flight with no fee. United has roughed us up a lot, lately. I plan to avoid them.

Doug, It is very frustrating. Our options were changing to a 6:00am flight the day before or the day after. Not good choices! We haven't been thrilled with United since the merge, we were pretty committed to Continental before it, since they were the best (and kind of only) option for us. We've talked about moving.......

We arrive the 28th - see you then! Have you seen that Southwest is flying to SJU via Orlando FL beginning in March or April? Internet fares are the best I've seen. If they stay with their normal policy, 2 checked bags fly free. I'm holding my breath that there might be a nonstop, since St. Louis is a hub. Last time I did that was on TWA...

BTW, we've chartered a couple times in the past, very convenient with 5 passengers on a Cessna twin. It used to cost 160 rt, SJU-CPX, back when VAL charged 135 for that rt. It was a necessity because of the difficulty getting to San Juan in time to catch the hop. I think it was Air America.

We will overlap by a few days, hopefully we will get to see you again! We have chartered with Air America/Culebra Air before, but he moved north. Ended up Air Flamenco this time, so hopefully someone will need those seats!!

Had not seen that Southwest was flying to SJU now, though they don't have a huge presence in Cleveland, they do have some. Definitely worth checking into for the future, especially with the free checked bags, thanks for the info! Continental always ran one direct flight on Saturday's back and forth during season and it was SOOOOOOOO nice when we could get that one. Always amazed us how quickly the trip went without the Houston or Newark layover! USAir has some decent options from here that we have done and they are a Star Alliance airline, which helps with our Continental points. Gotta get those points!!
