Charter and Captain from Culebra

We have been planning on 2 weeks in Culebra for almost 2 years now. We are coming in January. I recently talked to someone who thinks I would love a week on a boat going through the Virgin Islands. I do not know that my budget would allow it, BUT...

It would be ideal if we could come to Culebra for a few days, board a boat for a week and cruise around the Virgin Islands then spend the last couple of days in Culebra before heading home.

Does anyone know a captain and boat that could do this without absolutely breaking the bank?

You might be trying to do too much. To me it sounds like you have two full vacations there, at least. You could easily spend a full week in Culebra and only just begin to see the island. We recently stayed for a week and wished we had planned for two. Cruising around the Caribbean from island to island would be awesome but also would probably take about a month if you really wanted to spend any time anywhere. I would recommend basing yourself in Culebra and taking maybe a couple three-day excursions to perhaps Vieques and St. Thomas. This way you would have enough time to really experience and feel some of Culebra and get a peek at some of the other islands. But your time will go fast. We could easily spend two weeks on each one lol. Remember, you’re supposed to be relaxing on vacation not stressing out about logistics between islands. Culebra is the perfect place to relax. Zoni beach is our favorite.

I'm not sure if you have sailed in the USVI in the winter but the winds and seas can be up most of the time. So it's a little bit of work sailing around in high seas. Mooring in Ensanada Honda sounds much more relaxing and it's protected. Enjoy!
