Taking some rocks from beaches?
Culebra, Puerto Rico

Hi There:

My name is Steve.
I am plannign to go to Culebra Island on march, and I am a big fan of coral reefs, which I am going to see of course!
I wonder If I can take some rocks from the sea, is it permitted? Do I need any special permission to do that?
I am talking about some small rocks as souvenirs, like dead coral rocks and something like that.

Also I've heard of some risks of radiation in the near island vieques due to some US Navy gun tests there, is there any risk on Culebra as well?

Thank you for your help on planning my trip!

dead coral and shells gradually break down and form the sandy beaches.

Yes I know, but I mean, let's suppose I find some big dead corals, or rocks, can I take them? Can that generate issues on the airport?
