I am going to Puerto Rico and staying in Luquillo Friday April 3 threw Monday April 6. I would like to go to Culebra for a day trip but fear being stranded by the ferry. We get to Puerto Rico midday Friday and must leave midday Monday. This leaves Sat or Sunday and I understand the ferries fill quickly (I have been to Vieques so I understand). Not that I wouldn't love to stay over night but the condo is already paid for on the main land. Is Sunday any better than Sat? I just wanted to gauge how risky this endeavor is and what are my best chances for avoiding getting stranded. Thanks for what ever help you can offer and I am certainly going to be planning an extended stay on Culebra in the future.
