ferries to Culebra--how reliable?

We will be doing a day trip to Culebra the day before we fly home planning to take the 9 am ferry over and the 5 pm ferry back. We are going on a Tuesday and plan to be at the ferry in plenty of time. Do the ferries ever not run?

They can be shut down with high seas.
