My wife and I just spent a week on Culebra and had a wonderful time, in great part to the place we stayed. Tom and Nancy have a beautiful house(Mango Treehouse) up on a hill and offer the lower studio apartment for rent. There is a large comfortable bed, fully equiped kitchen, large bathroom with a double shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. The porch(patio, veranda?) has comfortable furniture, a nice view, cool breezes and lots of space to read or plot how to become a resident(didnt work in our case, good luck!). Tom and Nancy were always available if we needed them but we had all the privacy you could ask for and the price is more than reasonable. Add to that the great weather, beaches, snorkeling, food and people we met like Jerry of Jerry's Jeeps(a truly nice person and invaluable resource about the island and always available with a smile) and we couldnt have asked for more.
