We stayed at Villa Boheme room #11. I think this is the best room on the island ! (Base price is $136, but you can easily negotiate this down by 10-20% for mid-week stays). It is right next to Dingy Dock and the town. We didnt really interact with the staff, they didnt seem to be overly eager to help. We used our own cellphone to make arrangements for diving/scooter/dinner places etc. Make sure you pick up the $3 Culebra booklet.
You can leave the door open all day and night to a small private balcony which overhangs and overlooks the beautiful bay. Has a small kitchenette. We didnt cook but used the large fridge to store water/juice/milk and had cereals/fruits everyday on the balcony. It is a very romantic location with sufficient privacy. On most nights I and GF sat on the balcony enjoying the breeze with nothing on !
There are other waterfront locations, but this one is right in town. So we could just rent a scooter and get around the whole island.
You can rent the Kayak at the guesthouse for $8/hour, but we didnt use it.
