Jorge,
My experience with all Culebra restaurants is that from visit to visit, the quality and service varies, widely. As ownership and management changes occur, the good help turns over, and there is a limited supply of that. I check with friends as soon as I arrive to get up-to-date. One resource that attempts to provide restaurant news, is Culebra Blog. (Michael, I hope I'm not doing wrong by mentioning this.) They are at www.culebra.net.
Now to your question. Tamarindo's restaurant is a beautiful place to watch a Caribbean sunset while enjoying a cocktail and dinner. It is leaward, so it's a good idea to spritz on some insect repellant before going. The last time I ate there, was a grand opening of sorts, with a new manager. Many of Culebra's fine service people had volunteered to work on their days off to help her 'get over the hump', which I found to be terrific community attitude. The food was good, not great; but overall, the experience was very enjoyable. Hope this helps.
