I'll be travelling to Culebra in a couple of weeks. I was thinking of kayaking out to Lous Pena Key one day. What are the currents like this time of year? Is it a safe trip or does it just depend on the weather?
Joel, I can tell you one thing for sure about currents...you just never know. I have been on dives where there is absolutely no current at the beginning of the dive and then suddenly it is raging. It is the islands mon. But if you are experienced I think that you should be able to read the water and do fine. Go for it and enjoy!
