So I'm the new guy on the block after lurking on the blog the past several weeks prepping for my first Culebra trip. I got an e mail Jan 24, 2018 from Air Flamenco stating I could book a flight from Culebra to Isa Grande Airport San Juan if I called their reservations today February 5. Like the rest of you I called a variety of their numbers that went unanswered except for the robot at the end of the call telling me I couldn't leave a message. Tried all day nope!
So I called Viques Air links, I already have a charter to Culebra just trying to get a one way off the island on a Sunday in March back to San Juan. Well they said no can do on a Sunday, at least not March 11 and directed me to Seaborne Airlines which I know is in Chapter 11. Tried calling them and of course no answer, so I bit the bullet and booked a flight on their web site. Assuming they're up and running it flys to the International San Juan Airport leaving Culebra at 2pm. Which was a pleasant surprise going to SJU. I've been to on line flight trackers and it sure looks like Seaborne is flying so I got that going for me.
I post this to let everyone who's interested know that the Air Flemenco incommunicado continues and to ask is Seaborne associated with Viques Air links in some manner? And any other adventures or information I should be aware of with Seaborne.
