Culebra - Vieques ferry

Good day
Just planning a trip to visit both islands and looking for the ferry from Vieques- Culebra or wiseversa. Stumbled upon a topic in tripadvisor stating that there are no ferries between two islands and need to go back to Fajardo, however it dated as of 2007.
Is this true or ferry service exist now? If so, what are the ferry schedule?
If there is no ferry schedule, whats the best option to get from one island to another? Any local airline tips? Thanks

VAL (airline) has some flights that go via one island (from or to the 'big one') to the other. You need to call them for availability; no ferries.
