My wife and I just bought a home in La Romana and it has a detached cottage that is currently vacant. It is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, fairly complete set of kitchenware and nice view of Ensenada Honda. It is reportedly perfect for seasonal employees coming to Culebra for the winter. Like many older homes of this vintage, the cottage has no air conditioning or hot water. $500/month for 1 person, $600/month for 2, including elec/water/gas.
