No Ferry Available fot the weekend????

I heard that 4 out of 5 ferries are out of service and that only one is traveling to Culebra and Vieques.... is this true??

Is the only ferry available jus for residents then??

We were planning to go tomorrow, I tried calling the ferry offices since 7:30 am but nobody answered

Good morning,
It is VERY difficult to reach the ferry offices on the phone.

There always seem to be rumors flying around panicking folks about ferries not running. This is completely normal. At any given time there are ALWAYS ferries broken down-swapping with Vieques, etc.

In the summer months, particularly in July the ferries are INCREDIBLY CROWDED. I would STRONGLY suggest flying. The ferries WILL be full & it will be very difficult to get on, particularly on a holiday weekend-like this one.

I decided to fix my boat today and go tomorrow morning from las croabas, it's going to be a rough ride since there are 4-5 ft waves pounding a 20 ft BW but it's worth it !!!

We took the ferry this am from Culebra to Fajardo. Also, the ferry from Vieques arrived in Fajardo at the same time as the one we rode. So yes, the ferries are running.
