Bridge detour

Since the bridge is being repaired, how does one get to that end of the island. We have just always gone over the bridge. Does anyone know when it is supposed to be completed?

Only one lane of the bridge is closed-off at any one time. So, alternate one-way traffic allows full access to both sides.
