I thought people might want to read about our recent trip around the main island. Caveat - Although the trip ended in Culebra, there is not much information in this report about Culebra. One of the questions we answer on this forum a lot (and Mort is really tired of it :-)), is whether Culebra can be a tack-on after touring the island. Having visited Culebra for 8 years now and not being able to answer the question, I can now definitively say "you can do the entire island plus Culebra in 5 1/2 days" IF you travel like we do; IF you like to drive; IF you like to visit a place once and decide to come back later. And so on. . . We enjoyed it immensely. If you want to relax for 5 days on the beach, this trip is not for you. Enjoy!
