culebra from SJ and to Vieques

Hello,

We are making family vacation plans to culebra and vieques.
Question: Landing in SJ International at 4:10 and wanting reliable flight to Culebra. Isla Nena told me they would call me back. Not sure of all the options as I don't think we can make it to Fajardo in time for ferry (if it is running).
Question: Does anyone have any experience with transportation options going from Culebra to Vieques? I was told from someone on Vieques that there is not a passenger ferry between the two island. Isla Nena again told me they would have to call me back about their flights between the islands.

Thanks for forum information. I just found this and have to make our lodging accomodations today or tomorrow.

Good afternoon,
There is a 7pm ferry (you should be there by 6pm to purchase tickets). Fajardo is about an hour (allow 1.5) from San Juan.

Flamenco Air has a 6:30 flight which usually runs Thurs/Fri & other days depending on interest. You could give them a ring at 787-721-7332. They go from the Isla Grande airport, which is a 15 min. cab ride ($15 + $1/per bag).

Although there are no scheduled flights between Culebra & Vieques, we have had 2 sets of guests recently that have flown. One couple paid $50/each because Flamenco Air said there was a min. of 4 ppl. needed at $25/each. The other couple paid $25.00 each on Isla Nena as they had enough people to make the flight.
