My first trip ...almost here

I've been reading about everyone else's trip for years it seems and finally it is my time. Unfortunately my husbands idea of a vacation is not Culebra. He wants golf courses and 5 star restaurants, while I want the outdoors, hiking, bikes, snorkeling, new and different experiences.....Culebra. :)
He got his golf thing in Dallas last month, and I'll be in PR with a friend in August, so I convinced her to spend some time in Culebra (it wasn't hard...she's always up for an adventure)
So we will be arriving on Aug 6th and can't wait.
I've been "absorbing" knowledge and insight about all things Culebra for so long.....and now, FINALLY, I can put it all to use.

So anyway...I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experiences all this time and helping me to keep the dream alive. lol

I'll be there with my huge quantity of bug spray, sunscreen, my earplugs to ward off the roosters, and my beach novel soon!

DJ doesn't sound like one of those that will be complaining about the food and the weather and the noise and the bugs and the lack of amenities when she gets back! LOL! Have a blast!

you sound well prepared. I know I gripe about the roosters, but honestly they fade into the background soon enough.

what you need to prepare for (or just ignore until you have to deal with it) is the return...
