Moving to Culebra

I am thinking of moving to Culebra. I have been there 5 times and just love it. I am not new to island life, I was raised on an island in the states. I am a plumber by trade, and was wondering if I could find work in Culebra. Also how hard is it to find a small apartment or cottage to rent. What are the average year round rents ect... I know most of the trades from being in the building industry for years. So I can do most anything, not just limited to plumbing. Any input would be great.

I don't intend to be mean, but you might have better luck on Vieques or PR proper. Development is VERY limited on Culebra.

I'm also looking at branching out career-wise and it's a pain in the neck to convince people you're not talking out of your a**.

Thanks Mike, Whats the best way to find info on yearound rentals? Should I just wing it and try and find a place as soon as I get there, or is there a local paper that has rental info? Any inside info would help.

Hey Man...did you move to Culebra?

I have been there about 6 times and will be revisiting Aug 24 - Sep 3, 2007.

I have often thought about moving there myself, I work in the hospitality industry as a Senior Sales Manager and imagine I could find work easily.

Just curious if you did it.....did you?!?!?
